This is the first of two videos of the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services Band’s participation in the 2011 Grey Cup Parade. Our weather-flattened but hearty rendition of “Lions” was well-received by a rain-soaked crowd!
EVENT: Remembrance Day 2011
We are honoured to have been asked to represent the City of Vancouver again this year at the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at Victory Square.
The ceremony starts at 10:30 am, and typically runs for about 90 minutes. Get there early for a better view as this service is usually very well attended. Also, dress very warmly, be prepared for rain, and wear comfortable shoes. (Trust us, we know what we’re talking about…)
