Bright Nights in Stanley Park

One of our favourite times of the year is Christmas! One of our favourite events at Christmastime is the Bright Nights in Stanley Park Volunteer Appreciation Night.

Many (hundreds?) of firefighters volunteer their time to create a festive, sparkly Winter Wonderland by the Stanley Park Train, then invite families from the whole Lower Mainland to come and enjoy the scene. LOCATION: Burrard and Robson in Vancouver.

DRESS: Uniform issued pants, long-sleeved light blue shirt, tie, belt, black shoes and black socks.

Hey Everyone,

Here are the details on the Ocean Concrete gig on April 30:

TIMES:

Call time (depending on your instrument) 11:15 to 11:30
Downbeat: 12:00 noon
Play time: until 1 or 1:30 (1300 or 1330)
Post-gig: Munchies on the Island as per Rod’s recommendation

ATTIRE:

Uniform: Navy pants, blue shirt, tie, belt, black socks, black shoes, no hat
