EVENT: Firefighters’ Ride for Cancer, May 18, Burrard and Robson in Vancouver

On May 18, 2011, the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services Band will be supporting our fellow firefighters as they “ride to Seattle” — on stationary bikes — to raise funds to fight cancer.
The riders go for hours, but we will just be there during the lunch hour, serenading them from noon to 1 pm.
The location is the corner of Burrard and Robson in downtown Vancouver.
We hope you decide to come on out and cheer them on, toss some money in the hat, and enjoy a few tunes while you are there!
(We’ll let you know how the fundraising went once it’s all over. Help this be a great year!)
